Women Of The NHS - Organising Collaboration

This page highlights, my collaboration process, for my Women of The NHS project.

Within this project I have been mindful to consider the ethical implications of working with women who I don't know. I wanted the women I worked with to be their choice which I why I created an Open Call. Which I then asked a medical professional I new to share around her networks.

Women of The NHS - Contract and Collaboration Terms

These screenshots document, the contract I am in the process of creating. I created this document to send to the women of the NHS I work with, so it is clear from the start how their image a voice might be used in the present and future. The information seen below, has been conveyed to the people I have worked with however often viva email and verbally on meeting. I was very keen for the exceptions of the project to be clear, so no one feels exploited or like I have misused their voice and image.

These medical envelopes are still commonly used today. However one person's folder often has three or four envelopes compressed together with a rubber band.

I plan to place my publication within these medical folders. They are to be handled and touched, and will contain the interviews conducted during my collaboration with Women Of the NHS and pictures of the studies and paintings I have created of each women.

I have been creating a publication book, including pictures of my paintings and drawings, similar to my page called Women Of the NHS. With each women having a double page space within the publication.

Please see screenshots that demonstrates my process so far. I plan to print these in Risograph printing, In the colour palette of the NHS. Red an Blue.

These screen shots demonstrate my process so far on indesign. As you can see, I have been creating my publication. I am planning to print these on Risograph, with one page including printed images of my paintings and drawings and then quotes from our interview.
