These photos represent a recent collaborative mural I completed during the Summer Holidays with Allan Claydon. I took the lead in this project, communicating with the head teacher Chris Butler to understand and interpret his vision for the space. While also maintaining my desires for the room. With then the added combination of working collaboratory with Allan Claydon. This is the second mural we have done at this primary school; both murals have been in the library. The two murals fit together to create two large-scale paintings on parallel walls. Allan and I have spent a lot of time talking and planning concerning the internal constancy of the space. We are ensuring our two artist styles work together to look like one cohesive mural.
