MA FINE ART POP UP 

These pictures represent the pop-up MA group show we had. This experience was interesting as for the show, I selected completely different paintings for the exhibition, and my peers decided that my egg tempera painting of Ellie was far stronger and picked her instead. Although at first, I was shocked when I discovered they had chosen a painting I hadn't submitted I new they had made the correct decision. This painting of Ellie had felt like a breakthrough painting. Where the materials felt like they where working with me instead of against me. I had been using watercolour and wanted another media that emulated watercolour but allowed for some re-working and editing in a way watercolour often dosen't allow.
